This wooden model kit is a reproduction of a 18-gun Brig HMS Frolic. HMS Frolic was a 18-gun Cruizer-class brig-sloop of the Royal Navy. She was built by Boole, of Bridport and was launched on 9 February 1806. On 8 October 1812 the American sloop USS Wasp captured her after a fierce fight, [1] but later that day the British recaptured Frolic and captured Wasp. Frolic was broken up in 1813.The ship's deck is 13 inches long and 3.5 inches wide. It's overall length is 21 inches and she is 15 inches in height when fully masted. The ship comes with all the materials to build the hull, masts, and yards. It comes with 16 of our large cannon and 2 of our small cannon. This kit is of intermediate complexity and takes from three to six hours to build, paint and rig.
