This wooden model kit is a reproduction of the 18-gun British Brig HMS Frolic. HMS Frolic was a 18-gun Cruizer-class brig-sloop of the Royal Navy. She was built by Boole, of Bridport and was launched on 9 February 1806. On 8 October 1812 the American sloop USS Wasp captured her after a fierce fight, [1] but later that day the British recaptured Frolic and captured Wasp. Frolic was broken up in 1813. This faithful reproduction is for use with 28mm figures. The ships deck is 22long and 6 wide. Its overall length is 33 and 22 in height. She is a two masted ship. The ship comes with all the materials to build the hull, masts, and yards. She comes with sixteen of our 24lb carronades and two 12lb cannon.
