Product Description
This 18mm model kit is a replica of a French Gunboat. These small craft are representative of the ones used in amphibious operations during the Napoleonic era. While this particular craft is modeled based on a French design, similar craft found thier way into many of the navies of the period. It is armed with one of our 12lbs cannon on the rails in the stern and has an 24lb carronade on a pivot mount in the bow. They were powered with either sails or two banks of oars. This is a beginner level kit and comes with everything to build the hull and mast. The ship comes with one cannon and one Carronade. It does not include the figures show. The kit comes unassembled and unpainted and takes about an hour to build.
